FRESH OUT OF SCHOOL

Fresh out of school is a collection of shorts that associates, poetically and in the true spirit of artistic freedom, 13 poems of french poets with the graphic worlds of young directors who have just graduated from French animation schools.

Co-produced by Tant Mieux Prod and France Télévisions for broadcast in its youth time slots during the Printemps des Poètes, this collection entrusts 13 new talents with illustrating poets verses in a unique way.

Each director chose a poem to illustrate and interpret. Based on their desires, images, messages, pace, graphic world and personal style they each tell a story poet's words inspired. A wide range of techniques is the keystone of this collection, which includes traditional animation, rostrum, paper cut-outs, digital 2D…
